Founder & Owner | Flash Mobile Detailing
Born and raised in South Jersey, John Gordon has spent virtually his entire life around automobiles. From a young age, cars weren't just a hobby, they became a passion that ultimately turned into a career.
Long before founding Flash Mobile Detailing, John built a strong presence in the automotive community with his extensively modified 2011 Mustang GT. Known by many through the "Murdered 5.0" brand, the vehicle amassed a large social media following, earned sponsorships, and was featured in the Philadelphia Auto Show multiple times. Those experiences provided firsthand insight into what automotive enthusiasts truly expect when trusting someone with their vehicles.
John's attention to detail and commitment to excellence eventually led him to launch Flash Mobile Detailing from his parents' garage as a small side business. What began as a passion project has since grown into one of South Jersey's premier automotive appearance and protection companies, employing nearly ten team members and serving thousands of customers throughout the region.
Today, John is a Gtechniq Accredited Professional Installer, specializing in professional detailing, paint correction, ceramic coatings, window tint, and paint protection solutions. Under his leadership, Flash Mobile Detailing has earned a reputation for exceptional workmanship, outstanding customer service, and has accumulated more than 800 five-star Google reviews. The company is also trusted by professional athletes, automotive enthusiasts, and customers who demand the highest level of care for their vehicles.
Before pursuing Flash Mobile Detailing full-time, John served as a police officer, an experience that helped shape the values that continue to define the company today: integrity, accountability, professionalism, and service. Those values remain at the core of the business, and Flash Mobile Detailing proudly continues to support local law enforcement agencies and charitable initiatives throughout the South Jersey community.
Although the company has grown significantly, John's philosophy has never changed. Every vehicle is treated with the same level of care and attention to detail as if it were his own. He remains actively involved in daily operations, continually invests in advanced training and industry-leading products, and is committed to raising the standard for automotive detailing and vehicle protection throughout South Jersey.
Outside of work, John enjoys spending time with his wife, Anna, staying active through fitness, and remaining involved in the automotive community that inspired him to start the business in the first place.

Flash Business Policies
- Cancellation Policy: Our cancellation policy requires notification of at least one business day prior to your appointment. Failure to provide timely notice will result in a full invoice charge for the missed appointment, which will be credited toward your next detail, effectively pre-paying your next service.
- Three-Strike Policy for Same-Day Cancellations:
- First Strike: Full invoice amount is charged and credited toward your next appointment.
- Second Strike: Full invoice amount is charged plus a $75 same-day cancellation fee.
- Third Strike: After three same-day cancellations, we will no longer be able to provide service.
- Deposit Policy: Please note that we require a one-time deposit upon booking your first appointment, which amounts to $75. This deposit is non-refundable and will be credited toward your final bill.
- Travel Fee for Mobile Appointments: All mobile appointments will incur a travel fee as follows: $25 for up to 30 minutes of travel, $45 for 30 to 45 minutes, and $75 for 45 to 60 minutes.
- Discrepancies: Any concerns regarding detailing jobs must be reported to our office for proper handling in accordance with our policy standards.
- Refunds: Refunds and deposit refunds are not processed under any circumstances.
- Please note: All credit card transactions will incur a 3% convenience fee to cover processing costs. We appreciate your understanding and thank you for your business.
