1st ANNUAL MOTOR SHOW

We are excited to be apart of the Inaugural Wag Your Wheels Motor Show, benefitting the abused, neglected and forgotten animals of Homeward Bound Pet Adoption Center! This outdoor event was on Saturday, May 15, 2021 at the Voorhees Town Center. We had such a great time with everyone huge thanks to Homeward Bound Pet Adoption Center for all the hard work they do in our community. Their mission is ending companion animal homelessness in Camden County through community awareness and responsible ownership.

If you are going to get a new animal be sure to check out the adoption center first. Approximately 6.5 million companion animals enter U.S. animal shelters nationwide every year. Of those, approximately 3.3 million are dogs and 3.2 million are cats. Each year, approximately 1.5 million shelter animals are euthanized. The number of dogs and cats euthanized in U.S. shelters annually has declined from approximately 2.6 million in 2011. This decline can be partially explained by an increase in the percentage of animals adopted and an increase in the number of stray animals successfully returned to their owners.
