In 1953, the prototype of the first SONIC® Drive-In® opened in Shawnee, Okla. Back then, SONIC revolutionized the ordering process by using curbside speakers that allowed customers to place food orders without ever leaving their cars.
We are happy to announce our Second Car Meet with @sonicdrivein
Be sure to come out and support us this Thursday October 21st from 7-10pm. We have a rain date set for Friday October 22nd if need be. Police will be around so please let’s have great meet like last time. Respect the lot so we can keep making this happen and don’t forget to stop in at Sonic and grab something!
