The MKIV Supra is one of the most sought after cars within the car community. It doesn’t matter what kind of car demographic an enthusiast is interested in, they all know this Supra. Aside from the engine being extremely well built, the Supra MKIV was built to be a street-legal road race car. It was not only the last of Toyota’s true sports cars, but also the last one that featured Toyota’s amazing racing pedigree (until the LFA), especially with a front and rear double-wishbone suspension that is very well balanced. This explains why it handles so well on a road course, with the automatic transmission aiding in it’s ability to put down power quite well.
A hype began to build around the Supra in the early 2000’s. The Fast and the Furious was released on June 22, 2001 in the United States and grossed over $200 million worldwide, making it a commercial success. The movie received praise for both Paul Walker and Vin Diesel’s performances and the action sequences in it. The film not only changed the car community, but gave the Supra that it deserved.
This 1994 Targa Supra TT that we had the pleasure of detailing was in mint condition with less than 40,000 original miles on it. The car has been very tastefully modified, beginning with CCW Classic wheels in gloss black with neo-chrome hardware that complements the paint perfectly. It has a built motor, SP race intake manifold, GSC S1 cams, SP F1 turbo kit, Precision 6466, built auto transmission, 4000 stall converter, ProEFI and more. This beauty far exceeds the expectations of what the car should be.
